Dr. Lisa Iezzoni is a professor of medicine at Harvard Medical school and an internationally recognized health services researcher. Dr. Iezzoni, with her decades of work on health inequities for people with disabilities, discusses disparities in healthcare and why the needle has not moved on closing these gaps for the disability community. She shares findings from her recent work examining physician perspectives of patients with disabilities and insight on how to remove bias and improve access during health care interactions.
